Since our modest beginnings in 1968, operated Plant Hire has been the core of our business activities. With one of the most extensive range of fully maintained Plant and Equipment available within the area, you can rely on a prompt and professional service every time. Our service is backed up by our Fleet Support Team who dedicate their time and technical abilities to servicing our modern fleet.

Purchasing only the most advanced and productive machines available on the market place today, from manufacturers such as CATERPILLAR, JCB, VOLVO, HITACHI and TEREX, coupled with fully experienced and certified operators we are highly regarded in the area as the market leaders in plant hire. We also operate our own, in-house fleet of low loaders and delivery vehicles, which means we never rely on third parties where customer service is concerned.

Plant for hire:

Excavators

Both tracked and wheeled excavators are available from Miller Plant Limited in a variety of sizes. Our excavators are typically used on house building sites and general construction projects. Wheeled excavators are used where mobility of operation is the primary concern, for example on road repair projects. A selection of buckets, breakers & rippers are available for our tracked or wheeled excavators.

Articulated Dump Trucks

These dump trucks are available for hire from Miller Plant Ltd. For site safety, all our dump trucks have reversing bleepers, cameras and amber beacon flashing lights. As all our dump trucks have been road taxed, they are suitable for projects which involve road use. Our 30 tonne dump trucks all have enclosed back doors. The maximum payload on our 25 tonne and 30 tonne dump trucks is 25 tonne and 28 tonne, respectively.

Dozers

Bulldozers are also available at Miller Plant Ltd. Our D6M LGP’s are ideal for working on soft ground and come with PAT blades of 13ft 2in wide.

Wheeled Loading Shovels

Available from Miller Plant Limited, our wheeled loading shovels have a bucket capacity of 3.8m3 and 4.8m3 and are available with flat-edge or teeth buckets for different applications.

Crushers

Sandvik tracked crushers are available for crushing rock and inert materials in quarries, construction sites and recycling facilities. The crushers are designed to crush material into secondary aggregate and building materials.

Screeners

Miller Plant Ltd is equipped to offer Sandvik tracked screeners for screening inert materials. These high capacity mobile screeners are capable of producing either 2 or 3 products, as required at a rate of up to 450 tonne per hour. Our screeners have been designed for a quick installation and ease of relocation. Wheeled Backhoes

JCB 3CX Backhoe Loaders

These machines are available for hire with a selection of buckets, breakers and ripper.

Self Drive

Miller Plant Ltd can offer almost our whole plant catalogue for self drive hire. All our equipment has been purchased from top brand, leading manufacturers and is maintained regularly to a very high standard by our Fleet Support Team. Self drive hires can be as little as a single day hire up to a three year contract hire period. We operate our own in – house fleet of low loaders and delivery vehicles, which means we never rely on third parties where customer service is concerned.
