Below are examples of past and recent Earthworks project undertaken by
Miller Plant Ltd and a brief description of works
All Weather Pitch at St Machar Academy Aberdeen
Works included Topsoil strip, cut and fill, surplus materials off
site, we also produced 2200 tonnes of recycled clean material from our
Waste Transfer Station to act as free drainage, we also imported infill
to create a disabled access to the All Weather Pitch.
Rosewell Care Home Aberdeen
Works included Topsoil strip, reduce levels, surplus materials off
site, and recycled materials brought back in from our waste transfer
station, following demolition of the old care home.
New Office Development Earthworks and Associated Drainage for Miller
Plant Ltd
Site clearance works begins on the site of our new HQ, Works include
topsoil strip and off site, import 12,000 m3 of structural infill to be
spread and compacted in layers to meet compaction tests.
Dinnet Burn Footbridge and Associated Earthworks
Work included topsoil strip, reduce levels, formation of new access
road to properties with 6F2 material and Sub base Type 1 all
manufactured within the companies waste transfer station.
Industrial Development Kintore Aberdeenshire
Work included Bulk excavation of on site materials, crush material to
manufacture a 6F2 spec product, cart and level on area to create
platform for future development.
Waterloo Quay Development Aberdeen Harbour
Works began on a disused site to create a new container yard at
Aberdeen Harbour, works included Bulk excavation and materials off site
and fill to formation level using Type 1 Sub base manufactured within
our waste transfer station.
